CCS to Showcase New Mobile Safety Center at Market on Military Kids' Safety Day

Center for Childhood Safety (CCS) will be featuring their new Mobile Safety Center at the Market on Military Kids’ Safety Day on Thursday, July 20. Join CCS at the Green Bay Plaza on Military Avenue from 3-7 p.m. for a variety of fun, interactive safety exhibits in the mobile training unit.

“We’re so excited to share our new mobile safety center with the community in our very own neighborhood,” says Kimberly Hess, Executive Director of CCS. “The mobile center will allow CCS to reach more children and adults in Northeast Wisconsin and educate them about safety hazards in the home that can be unapparent.”

The event is put on by the Military Avenue Business District, as part of their summer Market on Military series. The market features in-season produce, crafts, and activities grown and created by local vendors.

For more information, please call the Center for Childhood Safety at (920) 272-0110 or visit www.ccsgb.org. CCS aims to eliminate all preventable childhood injuries and accidents that lead to disabilities and death through improved education and public awareness. The Center for Childhood Safety is Northeast Wisconsin’s leading resource for injury prevention.
